Walter Mosley's most important books

Walter Mosley is the author, most recently, of Blonde Faith, the latest installment in his Easy Rawlins series of detective fiction.

He recently told Newsweek about his five most important books.

And he addressed two other book-related issues:

A certifiable major book you haven't read:

Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. It's not The Three Musketeers.

A book you hope parents would read to their children:

Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne. A wonderful series, empowering to children.

Read about Mosley's most important books.
